When the weather turned hot, spouse and I fled to the coast like little screaming girls. It's been nice, we celebrated our 31st anniversary last night with dinner at a new restaurant. It's been a bit hazy, but great sunsets. A nice 68 degree breeze, sit back and relax

Loved the pictures Silliyak ... I liked the article too about your neighbour . Not how I pictured him though .... I was sure he had long fair hair ( of course ) , but that was before I knew was a mathematician . Its been a while since you posted , good to see you back .
ReplyDeleteIt sucks that sunsets like that are result of pollution or as in your case fire, but it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo damn beautiful. Does it feel weird for there to be fires and for you not to be working to put them out? It seems like the kind of job where if you do it, it's because your heart is in it.
ReplyDeleteI found this blog, and the guy reminded me of you the way he "talks" and I think you guys would make nice friends: http://lifeinaconeofsilence.blogspot.com/
It was both the best and worst jobs ever, but physically it was time to go.
