Like a butterfly emerging from it's cocoon, or appropriately on the day before Easter Sunday, an old wooden passenger car, possibly as old as 1860, has additions torn from it to reveal itself, and begin a new life. (after years of restoration to come)

ReplyDeleteImagine what this train car could tell us! And how wonderful it will be when it's back to it's glory days!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the plans for this car?
ReplyDeleteSo much hard work while Ive been away ... on your house, railroad car , and your blog! Good Job as you Americans say.
ReplyDeleteIm back to my life and my blog as you will see.. if you drop by sometime. You must have given up on calling in after all this time . Sorry.
Andrew, sorry to have missed your comment. The question is what to restore it to. Late 1860's Central Pacific passenger car? NWP Passenger car (That's what I think, but what era?)) or NWP Maintenance of Way car. The last would be the easiest, also the least interesting. We may have located some trucks, that would be great.
