The only upside is that she knows how much everyone in our community loves her and how much she will be missed.
She is a former Marine and very patriotic. The picture is of her house July 4th 2009. She did all the retaining walls herself as part of a landscaping plan the would have been lovely, but now will never be done. I used to call them The Great Walls of Norma.
I'm so sorry for your friend. Hopefully, the hospice staff will have unique ideas to help her with symptom management. Sending you big hugs, for even though Norma is losing everything, you are losing, too. It's a difficult journey, but it sounds as though your friend has a fierce advocate.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to hear she is doing so poorly. I hope she will be comfortable, at least, with Hospice. It is hard to watch as bad things happen to good people... I'm sorry for your loss.
